All Things Well

Lord, You do all things well
And this is a fact that I know
But when you send a specific care package to me
At times it leaves me speechless
Or awestruck
Or with tears of gratitude and reassurance
Swimming in my eyes
Lord, I do love the way that you surprise
An unsuspecting and faithful child of Yours
With special gifts crafted behind heaven's doors
For they make me think of the joys that await me
When I am called home to heavens shores.

Good Sunday morning to you, precious! It is going to be grand when we do get to go to that place of eternal bliss that the Lord has prepared for those who love Him. You know that unjust criticism that was born out of jealousy or envy that bothered you so much last week, well it won't be allowed when we get up there. And what about the trap that was set or the ditch that was dug that you fell headlong into? Remember how your enemies gloated over what they thought was your demise or downfall. You know how they looked innocent and justified all at the same time while gleefully exulting in your misfortune, well that won't happen over there. We are on our way home, y'all to a city so bright and fair.
Yet, in spite of the well-made plans and orchestrations of your enemies, the Lord allowed you to come through victoriously, didn't He? Uhm, hmm-m. Well, today is His special day and why not give Him some praise in the worship service so that others can see the love that you have for Him because of the love that He has for you? Yes, you can show that enemy (those enemies) that you are undefeated because of the God of Creation having your back. You do not have to tell them that is the reason for your joy, they will know by the way that you sing the songs of praise to Him; they will know by the way that you walk, and they will know by the assurance in your talk. Go to worship today, y'all and give Him some praise, for remember I told you that He likes that. What better way to spend a few hours of His day than giving your Father, your Creator, your Sustainer, your Deliverer, your Friend in the highest of places, in fact, your All in All praise? There is no better way, for He does all things well.😇

P. S. - Think not about what happens to you at the end of the day
Instead, think about what happens to you at the end of your stay.

Blog P. P. S. - Answer to question posed under "For Pondering" from yesterday.
  1. The question was, "Why is this blog piece entitled as it is? 'Time Worn/Duty Born'") And the answer is that the person that has always been the one to try and rectify situations that others have caused or gotten themselves in, is a bit weary of the task and feels a bit taken for granted and used. Yet, the said person will continue to do whatever the task at hand requires of him/her because it is his/her duty, (whether acquired or inherited by birth) and because they labor for a Higher Power. The "duty born" could also mean that the job that was given them to do was not handed to someone else or left undone, but the load of the task at hand was taken on, and genuine efforts were made to alleviate the problem that it caused. Read the poem from yesterday, and you will have a better understanding of the answer to this question.
