Easter Is Coming

We are approaching the time of year when people celebrate Easter. You know, with the colored eggs, Easter baskets and new frocks. Here is what I celebrate each day that I arise.

When He said that He would be back

They laughed Him to scorn

But when the tomb was found empty

He had proven that He was not just talk

For He got up that Lord's day morn.

His words tell us that He

Is coming back again

Don't stand with the scoffers

And say it can not be done

Stand with the saints instead and say

Glory to God for that resurrection day.

Great is our God for He is able

To rise above the earth, sailing past the sun

And make the return trip for man

Hallelujah! He is the One!
