Record Flooding

There is massive flooding in southern Texas, with more predicted. This is the greatest deluge of water that the southern portion of the state has ever seen. There are two things that give my soul peace in these flooding times.

1. I get peace from the love and faithfulness of my Father in the simple presence of the rainbow. That tells me that this flooding, too, shall pass away.
2.  I get peace from seeing my brothers and sisters helping each other without regard to race or creed. How beautiful it is to see mankind take a catastrophic event such as this hurricane and subsequent flooding and work together in unity for the common good.
