On My Way

Good morning, precious one. Yep, you are precious because you are loved by the Lord to such an extent that He sent His Son to die for you, loved to such an extent that He had the Bible written for you. And He has folk like me to take that love and give a portion of it back to you in the form of encouraging words.
I wanted to talk to you about, "On my way." I have been going to the hospital for the past several days because I have a brother who is ailing. He has come through the surgery physically in pretty good condition; however, it has taken its told on him, psychologically.  I am on my way back to the hospital to see him, again.
But you know what? I am on my way whether I ever take another step out of my home again. I am on my way even if I never eat another bite or utter another word. The Bible says, "It is once appointed unto man to die and after this the judgment." Each day that I live, I am being ushered closer and closer to my appointment with the great meeting of time and eternity. Yes, I am on my way to a better place, but I have to work hard to assure that I will hear the Lord say, "Well done, thy good and faithful servant." For me, that will be enough. I will look back on my journey and say, "Farewell." Farewell to heartaches, disruptive circumstance and whathaveyou. Every day will be a joyful day and we, who have prepared ourselves, will enjoy the blessed joys that He has prepared for us.
Hallelujah! I will keep "Doing all that I can while I can," because I can say with a smile on my face, "I am on my way."

Blog P. S. - And you know what I do as I am walking through the corridors of the hospital on my way to my brother's room, I give an encouraging smile or word to people that I meet. And if I should happen to engage someone in conversation in the elevator, I try to leave a word of encouragement, comfort or cheer with them, too. Ever working, folks, because I am on my way to my reward prepared by my Lord.
