What do these words bring to your mind when you hear them, a new canvas, a new chalkboard, a new drawing pad, a clean slate? Yes, all of these phrases except the last one bring to mind "new." Now I want you to envision those phrases with one additional word and that word is "child." When you have a child given to you by the Lord, that is a new soul for you to train for Him. You hold something priceless and precious in your hand. Let's treat them as such.
Now, about the last phrase in our highlighted series of phrases, "a clean slate." If you have not done what you should have or as much as you should have for a child, ask for forgiveness. You then, will have a clean slate. Get it right this time. A soul given for your training is priceless and precious.
