Glad for You

After all of the things
That you have been through
Nice  to see you smile
Glad for you.

The joy on your face
Is reflected in mine
Good to see, dear fellowman
That you are doing fine.

Prayed together and
Had to cry a lot
You often whispered this prayer
"Jesus, forget me not."

To know that He not
Only didn't forget
But that He says to you
"Better days to come, yet.

Quickens my pace
And strengthens my step
In doing my duty to
Finish my race.

"Rejoice with those that rejoice"
 Is what the Bible says
And that is what we do
Isn't it nice to know that others
Rejoice with and well-wish you?
