God Is Good!

Happy Sunday morning to you. I wanted to say that to you and to let you know how my day went yesterday. But before I do that, let me take care of the common courtesies and ask how you are doing. I hope that you are doing well. And let us all remember the victims of the hurricanes and flooding and wildfires. Let us on bended knees pray for tranquility and peace over our land and the world around.
It is soon to be worship time for me, and I am going to praise Him loud and long. Why, because He is my Father and is deserving of praise. Let us never forget Who has brought us this far and by Whose love we flourish.  I flourish, and I know that it is by God's grace. I told the group that I spoke to on yesterday that I am living the "tomorrow" today that I prayed about in the yesterday of my youth.
When I finished talking to the group yesterday, and the program was over, people formed a line and stood there waiting their turn to hug me and or shake my hand and offer platitudes. Even little kids came up to me. One little baby came up and just squeezed my legs. She just squeezed so hard and held on for a few seconds. It was long enough for me to wonder and for her grandmother to look at me with amazement. I said that to say this. If the Lord is for you, then you will be alright. I had hoped that I would give the ladies and the young people something to carry with them and apparently I did.
The theme for yesterday was, "Young and in Charge in 2017." I think that I will do a video of this lesson for you and post it on youtube or facebook or both, as soon as I can figure out how to do it. Look for it within the week. I will let you know when I have it posted. I trust that it will bless you as much as it seemed to have blessed the ladies that attended yesterday. That was the first half of my day. The second half began with traveling to Jackson, Tennessee for the Women of Action Banquet where I was a vendor. We had the opportunity to speak about two minutes about our materials/products that we had in our booths. Oh, and get this. There was a television crew there, and I was told that they filmed me as I was talking about my book. I don't know as I did not see it. I was too busy talking about how the Lord had used and is still using this earthen vessel to further His plans/purposes. At any rate, I need to go and get ready to leave for worship. You be blessed and remember that God is good and I say, "To God, be the glory for the things that He has done."

P. S. - Oh, "that book?" It sold completely out. I have people wanting them today, but I do not have any more copies. They are ordered though and have been shipped. Yes, folks, "Chopping My Row" is proving to be quite popular.
