Treasure Box

Good Morning!
You say what's so good about it? Surely you know! Listen and I will take a few secs. and tell you. (Those of you who are having a good morning, good. But, please bear with me as I take a moment to try to encourage someone who is disgruntled this morning.)  The morning is great because you are alive to experience it. You are looking down on the grass instead of looking up at it...
Still not feeling any better?  Okay, this is what I want you to do for me today. Ready? Aw, come on! If you won't work with me, I can't help lighten your mood...
Now, that's much better! See, don't you feel better already?  Not yet? You will! ( Alright! I heard that!) And yes, for your information, I am persistent. (Tee hee) You just be glad that I am, thank you very much. (Tee hee) Seriously, it's not everybody that would care if you were happy or smiled or not, you know?  Me, I care; that's all. I might tell you why later, depends upon how well you listen and cooperate with me today. Deal? Whew, you sure are making me work hard to get a smile out of you.  That's okay, though because you are already starting to smile a little bit on the inside and I definitely have your attention now!  That is good enough for me right now. No, no, no, I cannot read your mind and I do not have a hidden microphone  in your house. Ha ha ha  Now, now, now! None of that...
Well, at least I got you out of the sad, sad mood that you were in. Ha! Got cha! Don't worry about all of that right now. I told you that I might tell you why I care if you cooperate. When I tell you why then you will understand the how. Fair enough?  Yeah-h, got you interested and got another little bit of a smile out of you, didn't I?  Thank you very much, I appreciate the compliment and you are welcome.  Okay, here we go...
Wait a minute... My goal was to get you feeling better and do this simple blog. Ha, I have already succeeded in what I wanted to do, which was to cheer you up. So what I had planned to have you do for me, I think that I will save for tomorrow's blog. Ipe! Ipe! Ipe! No complaining! I tell you what you do. You get a few of your buddies and meet me back at my blog on tomorrow. Then I will go, through the rest of what I was going to do today. Why get some of your buddies, you ask.  Well, birds of a feather  n all. (Smile)

To the rest of you that waited so patiently, thank you very much. So to the business at hand...

There  are certainly times in all of our lives when we don't know where to turn and/or which way to go. But if you have been living anytime at all, then you understand what I am talking about. You know what I do in times like these?  I look to the source of my hope, my spiritual treasure box. I look to the Bible. I go to Psalm 46 and I take the entire chapter in one dose.  When I have ingested this medicine, I no longer have to wonder where to turn nor which way to go. I remember to, Look to the hills from whence cometh my help and I move onward and upward.

Have a good day!
Until next we meet...
